Australian Professional Rugby Union Footballer
James O'Connor is an Australian professional rugby union footballer who currently plays for Queensland Reds in Super Rugby. He made his international debut for Australia in 2008 as a Rugby prodigy at the age of eighteen and now has over 25 caps with the Wallabies.
Greatest Achievement/ Proudest Moment?
Greatest achievement was fighting my way back into the World Cup squad after spending 5 years playing overseas and overcoming a bad ankle injury. To pull on that Gold jersey again and beat the All blacks in Perth was very special.

What’s your favourite car to drive and why?
Has to be SUV now. Loving the extra space and ability to put on some good music, cruise control then hit the road especially as I travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast few times a week.
What was your first car?
First automobile was actually a Scooter in Perth then I upgraded to a Volvo.
If you could join any past or current music group which would you want to join and why?
The Beach Boys. Seems like they had a good balance of music, fun, surf & by sounds of there music it was a good time to be around California.
If you could drive anywhere tomorrow, where would you go and why?
I have actually been putting a plan together for a trip up the coast to Cairns with my Brothers.
What motivates you to work hard?
To win each day, knowing when my head hits the pillow I have grown in some way or another.
What’s your favourite movie and why?
Gladiator. Guess I have always seen rugby players as modern day gladiators in a way, so the story of redemption and fighting for what is right inspires me.
What’s one fun fact about you?
I speak French.
