Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

At speeds of 64km/h and above, Driver Attention Warning (DAW) uses the windshield-mounted camera to continually monitor the i30 Hatch’s position in a lane, while also tracking steering, brake pedal use, and time since your last break. When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, the system gets your attention with an alert plus a pop-up message suggesting you take a rest stop.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

FCW utilises the front radar sensor and windshield-mounted camera to detect vehicles and pedestrians in front of the i30 Hatch. If a potential collision is detected, the FCW system will sound an audible warning chime and display a visual warning in the supervision cluster.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The TPMS displays the real-time PSI pressure for each individual tyre onto the instrument cluster, warning the driver of sudden pressure drops or deviations.

Drive mode select

This allows you to choose from three driving modes—Normal, Eco, and Sport – to best meet your immediate driving needs. Sport mode increases steering weighting and engine response. Coupled with delayed upshifting, Sport mode maximises the dynamic driving feel of your i30 Hatch. Choose Normal mode for a driving experience optimised for typical day-to-day use or Eco mode when fuel economy is your top priority.

7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT)

Available with the 1.6L petrol turbo engines, the 7-speed computer-controlled DCT combines the fuel efficiency and acceleration of a manual transmission with the ease, simplicity and absence of a clutch pedal of an automatic.

10.25” Sat Nav display

10.25” Sat Nav display The in-built navigation system features a touchscreen interface[P4] with live traffic updates. It also comes with a complimentary 10-year maps update subscription while your i30 Hatch continues to be serviced at a Hyundai dealer. Only available on the Elite variant.

Apple CarPlay™[P1] and Android™ Auto[P2]

The in-built navigation system features a touchscreen interface with live traffic updates. It also comes with a complimentary 10-year maps update subscription while your i30 Hatch.   Only available on the Elite variant.

Smart key with push-button start

Keep your proximity key in your pocket, and start and stop the motor simply by pushing the ‘Engine Start/Stop’ button mounted in the dash. You can also lock and unlock your i30 Hatch simply by pushing the small button on the front door handles.

[H4] Sat Nav Update Plan
Only applies to new vehicles with both 8” and 10.25” factory-fitted satellite navigation.
